Miracles Happen Daily | Celebrate Life, Practice Gratitude, Find Joy

Tiny Wonders. Big Praise.

Have you ever missed a miracle because you were too busy reading the news?

I almost did—more than once.

One morning, I was scrolling headlines before my feet hit the floor. Floods. Fights. Fears. My heart felt heavy, and I hadn't even had my morning tea yet.

But just then, my daughter wandered in—wild hair, sleepy eyes, giving me a huge hug and "a Good Morning" kiss, and jumping into bed—and I felt a holy pause and focused on the miracle in pajamas, the God in those arms and the love in that kiss.

Today, as we entered our Uber, the driver responded positively when my daughter and I said, "Good Morning." As we pulled away from the curb, I said, "You seem very upbeat today," he replied, "I'm trying." This brief conversation led us to have a deeper conversation about God's small miracles. You see, too many people focus on what they don't have, the news and events they have no control over, instead of focusing on the small blessings in their lives.

We overlook the everyday miracles God gives so freely. The breath in our lungs. A warm bed. The unexpected kindness of a friend. The hug and kiss of a child. They're all around us—but we miss them when we fixate on the dark instead of celebrating the light.

This blog is just my personal journey and perspective I am sharing with you. If you're struggling deeply, please seek professional help.

In this post, I'll share 4 gentle ways to notice the miracles, choose joy, and celebrate your God-given life again.

🌷 Scripture Anchor

"This is the day which the Lord hath made; we will rejoice and be glad in it." – Psalm 118:24 (KJV)

This verse reminds us that each day is a gift, handcrafted by God—full of little mercies waiting to be seen.

1. Practice Simple Gratitude

It's not about grand gestures. It's about quiet thanks.

Last year, we kept a "miracle jar"—writing down the good things that happened that day. On New Year, we opened them, read them aloud, and laugh. Then, we pasted them into a journal so we have a keepsake of our blessings and little miracles.

Try This:

Start your own "Mircale or Gratitude jar"—write 3 blessings before bed. Found my lost keys. Heard from an old friend. Laughed until I cried. Open them on New Year. It is a good way to start the year.

2. Turn Off the Noise

"He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters. He restoreth my soul..." – Psalm 23:2–3a (KJV)

Yes, even that app.

Too much news or social scrolling can drain our joy and make miracles hard to see.

Try a digital Sabbath—just one day offline. Let your heart breathe again.

Try This:

Trade 30 minutes of screen time for a walk, worship music, or tea with Jesus.

3. Celebrate the Small Stuff

"Rejoice in the Lord alway: and again I say, Rejoice." – Philippians 4:4 (KJV)

Who said you need a reason to rejoice?

Your child's first drawing.

A great hair day. Don't you notice when you style your air in the evening, it always comes out good, and you can't recreate the look in the morning?

Finishing a tough work week.

They all count. Celebrate with ice cream. Dance in the kitchen. Laugh with a friend.

Try This:

Create a "joy list" of 10 tiny wins this week. Then, actually celebrate one.

4. Speak Life Over Yourself

"I will praise thee; for I am fearfully and wonderfully made: marvellous are thy works..." – Psalm 139:14 (KJV)

You are God's miracle, too.

We often forget to affirm ourselves with truth. But speaking God's promises helps us believe them.

As women, we are often busy pouring out—as mothers, wives, coworkers, and friends. We show up for everyone else. But it's not selfish to speak life over ourselves. Celebrating yourself is a way of honoring the One who made you.

Try This:

Each morning, say: "I am loved. I am chosen. I am a living miracle."

Bonus: Write it on your mirror.

🌿 Closing Encouragement

Friend, miracles aren't just for storybooks or Sunday services.

They're right here—in your breath, loveone's smile, and chance happenings.

Don't let the world's noise drown out heaven's whispers.

Let's be women who pause to praise, notice the good, and celebrate every little grace God sends.

🌼 A Simple Prayer

Lord, open our eyes to the wonders You've placed in our lives. Help us turn from fear to faith, from noise to gratitude. Thank You for the daily miracles. Teach us to see them, savor them, and share them. Amen.
