For too long, one message has dominated Christian culture: "Be energized. Stay caffeinated. Keep moving." And while there's nothing wrong with that message... It's not the only way to encounter God.  Some of us meet Him differently.

The Tea Lover's (The Steeped Saints) Story

We're the ones who discovered something profound: Our deepest encounters with God didn't happen in the loud, energetic moments. They happened in the quiet ones. We're:

• The chamomile before sleep people
• The steep slowly, pray deeply people
• The ones who know that time with God can't be rushed, just like a good cup of tea

For years, we watched as coffee became the beverage of Christian culture. Every shirt, every mug, every cute saying celebrated the rush, the energy, the go-go-go.

And we thought: Where are we in this story?

We're not anti-coffee. Coffee lovers, you're loved here too. But we ARE saying: Tea lovers deserve to be celebrated, not overlooked. Because representation matters. Because your ritual is valid. Because choosing stillness over speed is a spiritual discipline, not a personality flaw.

The KozzyCo Origin

This brand was born from a single morning ritual: Tea. Bible. Presence. I discovered from 3 empowered women that God and those still moments with tea can change everything: When anxiety threatened to drown me, tea reminded me to breathe. 

When overwhelm screamed at me to do more, God whispered, "Be still and know." When I felt guilty for slowing down, my great-grandmother's voice echoed: "Child, faith grows in stillness." She was right. So was my mother (yes, a coffee drinker!). And her mother before her. These women who shaped my faith weren't the loudest or the busiest. They were the steepers, the ones who knew that encounters with God couldn't be rushed.

After years of waiting for a miracle, I became a mother at 47.  And I have started the steeper tradition with my daughter, teaching her to be still and let God as we sip tea together.

KozzyCo is my tribute to these women and to every person who's been told their pace is wrong. It's not.
